#3KGMovember Giveaway
Although being a tradition for years, No Shave November also known as Movember, began in 2003 in Australia with the goal of raising awareness of testicular and prostate cancers; it caught wind in the USA in 2009 with a Chicagoland family reinventing the tradition as No-Shave November for their father, raising money for charity due to his passing from colon cancer November 2007.
The premise of the initiative is to build awareness for cancer and start conversations on how to prevent and detect forms of cancer. Participants are asked to suspend their grooming efforts for 30 days by growing a mustache, beard, or not shaving their legs. By not partaking in any grooming efforts further rules to the tradition advise the participants to donate the money spent of those items to the cause and find grooming or trimming acceptable for those who have to.
No Shave November encourages everyone to set up their own fundraising page or to support someone who has one already set up. The organization, however, currently works with the following organizations for their efforts: Prevent Cancer Fund, Fight Colorectal Cancer, and St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
To honor No Shave November, 3KINGS Grooming will host a giveaway of the glamorous 3KINGS Gold Hair Pick to the follower, with the most mustache/beard growth or showing the greatest contrast between before and after photos, starting now until November 30th, 2020. Entries must tag @3KingsGrooming in a post using the hashtags #3KingsGrooming and #3KGMovember or submit their before and after photos via direct message on Instagram (@3kingsgrooming) or Facebook (3KINGS Grooming). All entries are due November 30th, 2020 at 12 noon EST; winner will be announced December 1st, 2020.
