The world of Elaine Welteroth comprises many hats, and roles while still maintaining style and poise. Born in Newark, CA, Welteroth is an award-winning journalist, New York Times bestselling author, producer, judge on Project Runway, talk show co-host, and Teen Vogue’s first as the first-ever Black beauty editor and later as the youngest-ever editor-in-chief. Her book, More Than Enough, first came out in 2019 and became an instant best-seller. She would later receive an NAACP Image Award in 2020 and be appointed as a Cultural Ambassador for Michelle Obama’s When We All Vote initiative. Her current strides are as a co-host of The Talk, CBS’ Daytime Emmy Award-winning talk show alongside Sharon Osbourne, Sheryl Underwood, Carrie Ann Inaba, and Amanda Kloots.
Tamu McPherson is a Kingston, Jamaica native, moving to New York at six. She began studying law at Fordham Law School. After graduating, she would move to Milan. Milan would be the space she drew inspiration to start her blog All the Pretty Birds in 2008. The blog runs as a space to discuss and highlight beauty, wellness, and multicultural fashion; these topics are highlighted through Tamu’s social media presence, showing her chic street style with the beauty of Italian fashion.
