Welcome back to the seventh installment of Black influencer spotlight with 3KINGS Grooming. Today we will spotlight hot influencers on the fashion industries.
Let us know who you would like for us to spotlight next in the comments!
Christopher John Rogers is a Brooklyn based, Baton Rouge born fashion designer styling some of the greatest names known to date, such as Vice President Kamala Harris, Michelle Obama, Cardi-B, Rihanna, and Lizzo, to name a few. Rogers debuted his first collection Fall 2018; later, in November 2020, was awarded the prestigious CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Award. Some of Rogers’ pieces are available in-store, including Net-A-Porter and Forty-Five Ten.
The strides to make the fashion industry more inclusive have been fought by several heavy-hitters, including Paloma Elsesser. Elsesser is an outspoken advocate - being a multi-ethnic curve model has Latina, white, and African-American heritage. Walking for Alexander McQueen, Fendi, Salvatore Ferragamo, and more; Elsesser has set an example for people around the world to accept who they are and break barriers in every industry. Continuing her outspoken spirit, she was featured on the cover of Vogue discussing the fashion industry and the need for it to take accountability for doing better with representation.
