Fall/Winter Skincare Tips

Fall/Winter Skincare Tips

As temperatures drop in various regions of the world, people are experiencing changes in their skin. For many, skin conditions are drying and become more cracked because of the harsh air and cold temperatures- facial skin especially taking most of the hit since it is harder to cover faces during these seasons.

Here are some tips to keep in mind during the seasonal transition from warmer to colder temperatures:

-Keep skin moisturized as needed: using items such as aloe vera, moisturizers with collagen and with a thick texture, daily, can help with long exposure to cold temperatures.

-Use eye creams and lip balms: keeping these more sensitive areas moistures is key to preventing cracks in the skin.

-Exfoliate: find a good median for exfoliating skin during this time, as cold air can cause skin to look dull.

-Use SPF: although the sun may not be out as much, it is still important to use sunscreen to prevent UV ray damage.

-Water, Water, Water: staying hydrated is still a very important part of surviving life and keeping skin hydrated and clear.

Use these tips in order to keep skin ready for next summer. Stay warm and safe this fall and winter season!
